Always groundbreaking, controversial and surprising, Charlie Le Mindu has made history again with his Spring/Summer 2012 collection at the Espace Commines in Paris on Sept 30, revealing a show stopping dress made of 25,000 hand-wrapped Minx nails over Kiss Nail Tips.
Le Mindu initiated his professional career as a Hair Stylist and has evolved into an innovative apparel and accessories designer using his original medium of locks and tresses as material for his garments.
Taking this concept to an even greater extreme, Charlie and Minx created original abstract interpretations of flowing hair which Charlie geniusly translates into a moving garment and hair accessories, juxtaposing two natural mediums. Instead of hair and nails accessorizing the fashion, for Charlie and Minx, hair and nails ARE the fashion!
To celebrate this creative collaboration Minx and Charlie Le Mindu have teamed up to offer Limited Edition Minx prints from this season’s runway collection as well as those from shows past.
